Happy Birthday London!

I can't believe my baby girl is already 2! The time has gone by way too fast. I love her so much and I'm so grateful to have her in my life. Here our just some of the things I love about you London.

The way you make sure Daddy gives everyone a kiss and a hug before he leaves for work.

Making sure you have your purse, just like mommy, before we head out the door.

Your cheesy little smile and the way you scrunch up your nose.

When you climb into my bed in the morning and want to snuggle with only mommy.

How you always ask for more kisses when I'm trying to put you to bed.

The way you love your brother even when he isn't being very nice.

The cute little things you say like "share mommy" and "sorry, I didn't mean to."

I love it when you sing twinkle twinkle and itsy bitsy spider.

Last I love your cute little personality and how sweet and sassy you can be.

I love this little girl more than anything in the world and I'm so blessed to be her mother!

It's Summertime!!

We have had lots of fun and sun! Its already July and this is the first time I've had a chance to sit down and update the blog. Here is the start of my 3 part post to show you some of the many things that we have been doing all summer!

The local fire department had an open house and the kids got to dress up like real firemen, boots and all.

They also let them spray the firehose. Hunter took the job pretty seriously.

We got to take the kids to Hogle Zoo. Hunters hightlight was the merry-go-round. Londons favorite, was seeing the monkeys.

Lee Reunion

This year we were in charge of the reunion, so we decided to have it up at the Shawver cabin. We were so excited to see all of our brothers, sisters, and cousins that drove from far away to make it. Everyone had a wonderful time and we were pretty sad when it had to end.

Kids and some adults playing night games

All the brothers getting ready to do some serious motorcyle riding

Friday morning, we all packed up and got ready to hike up to Iron Bog Lake. The hike was pretty steep and narrow and in some parts covered in snow! we made it to the lake only to find out that it was still frozen over. we still had a great time and Hunter was such a trooper. He hiked the whole way up and down without any help, and most of the time he was leading the pack. Here we are at the lake having lunch.

Lake Powell

We got home from the Lee reunion saturday afternoon. I stayed home to do laundry and Dewight ran to the office to catch up. We packed up our things and took off that same night drove all night to get to our next family reunion, Lake Powell! We had a great time, our days consisted of swimming, playing cards, skiing, eating, and sleeping under the stars. it was so much fun and the kids and adults all had a blast.

London with her best friend and slave. Anytime mom and dad didn't want to get in the water
she could always con "CA" to go swim with her

Yes thats right, Hunter is water skiing!! It took a lot of bribing but we finally got him to try skiing. He got up his first time and we were so excited for him. one of our many highlights of the week.

Cody and Dewight cliff jumping!

All the men playing a mean game of 500

I love this picture

Easter 2011

We had a wonderful easter weekend with two great days of weather.(last year it was snowing). the kids participated in two easter egg hunts, and got gobs of candy. They had a blast finding eggs with cousins and eating treats all weekend!

Our Favorite Things

Here at our house we are waiting patiently for spring to come. We've been cooped up inside far too long and my kids can't wait to get outside and have some fun. Here are just some of the fun things we do to pass the time.

London is my little artist(you should see her masterpiece on my wall) and loves to color!! she is getting really good at using her words and asks everyday to color. she will sit there and just scribble for as long as it takes to cover a complete page. The only time she will stop is to get my attention to show me her newest creation.

The kids love to help mom cook. whether we are making sandwiches for lunch or sugar cookies, they have to be involved in the process. We are still working on the cleanup process!

making messes, is another one of Londons favorite things to do.

Hunter Loves to play pretend and everyday we are building something new. It can be anything from a mountain, a castle, a fort and even a spaceship. He cracks me up with all the new adventures he drags me and London into.

'Tis the season

I promised myself that I was going to be a great blogger during this holiday season and give up to date posts. Well here we are, the holidays are over and now I’m trying to catch up and share all the wonderful things we did over the holidays. We had a wonderful time seeing family and friends, making memories, and enjoying this wonderful time of the year. I’m a little sad that the holidays are over, but excited to see what this New Year will bring for our family. here are just a few of my favorite pictures.

Hunter was so excited for Santa to come this year he couldn't wait to see him and tell him what he wanted for Christmas. London on the other hand wanted nothing to do with him she had a complete meltdown when we tried to sit her on Santa's lap the only way she would even get close go Santa is if Dewight was holding her.

Hunter playing a wiseman(he took the job pretty seriously!)

We spent Christmas at Grandma and Grandad Lee's house. We were so excited for Christmas morning that neither of us slept and all the adults were up by five just waiting for Hunter and London to wake up. We finally couldn't take it anymore and we woke them up. Hunter couldn't believe Santa had finally come and just stood there for a good five minutes looking at all his presents.
